Before creating any content, it’s essential to get crystal clear on who you’re speaking to.
If you don’t know your ideal client inside and out, your content will be broad and generic.
Your ideal client won’t resonate with it. They won’t even know you’re actually speaking to them.😱
Start by:
- Identifying their pain points and desires
- Understanding their goals, challenges and what keeps them awake at night
- Defining their language so your content feels personal and relatable
The more specific you get, the better your content will resonate. When you speak directly to your dream client’s needs, your content will naturally attract the people who are ready to pay for your expertise NOW!

BUT!!! This has nothing to do with the way we’ve all been taught:

- Giving a lot of free value – because your high-paying clients don’t want generic things and they don’t have time to DIY it. You want to be seen as a “must-have NOW” (not as a “nice-to-have, hmmmaybe one day?”)
- Sharing surface-level tips or general advice (ex: no more posts like “3 tips of to XYZ”) that actually put you in the friend zone (trust me, I’ve been there, no thanks!)
✅ Instead, you want to dive deep into solving the real problems your audience faces while showing them you’re the one they’ve been looking for!
Here are some types of value-driven content that will help:
- Blog posts that provide actionable insights
- Case studies showing how you’ve helped past clients achieve transformation
- A free resource that solves a specific problem… There’s nothing wrong with sharing a free resource to build up your email list as long as it’s INTENTIONAL and speaks to high-intent buyers. (ex: a masterclass or webinar where you can share your expertise and connect with your audience on a deeper level, inviting them to take action)

Here are a few simple SEO recommendations:
- Keyword optimization: Use keywords your ideal clients are searching for in your blog posts, headlines and meta descriptions. You need to think like a ready-to-buy client thinks
- Optimized images: Include alt text with keywords and ensure you compress your images for fast loading. You can use this website to make your images lighter and faster to load: TinyJPG (and George the Panda is super cute🐼☺️)
- Internal & external linking: Link to other valuable content on your website to keep visitors engaged and also to external websites (ex: collab with others, link to references… make sure you have permission!
